what do you know about muslim?

HEY...., Im back again
Is it everyone know about Salam cafe??? Janice does.....

Basically, Salam cafe format is hardly ground breaking, and the aims to deliver laughs via sketches, vox pops and discussion of the day's issues. The twist is that the panellists and interviewers are Muslim, giving Salam Cafe an endearingly subversive edge.

I will expose one of the episode of Salam Cafe

The interviewer ask one of the audience, What do you know about Mulim?" Not a lot, but i know their beliefs are pretty dangerous," and again the interviewer ask " What do you think of Muslims? " I hate them"...

From these conversation we can see, the reflection of Australian for Muslim people and this is not far away of Racism for Middle Eastern

This show is very good for us who is non Muslim, we can see that Muslim people who usually from middle eastern country, not as bad as we are thinking.

I think the main reason people dislike muslims is because they don't understand what it actually means to be a muslim. I'll admit, I don't know much about this religion but I have known people who are of muslim faith and they are quiet, kind people. Usually, people who dislike muslims can't justify why exactly they do. They are usually the kind of people who choose to ignore facts, and watch bias shows like "a Current Affair" and base their opinions on them. The easiest thing to do is to just accept that this is another religion (just as Christianity is) and there are people who believe in it.

Yeah exactly, they are not really understand what is muslim, but my question know is how they are going to understand that??? Do you if people already have the negative thinking about that, thy are going to change their mind?

So what do you think?

When people's minds have been made up - it can be difficult to change them. However, if a person is open-minded and media savvy it would not be difficult to explain this to them. Unfortunately, many people are ignorant and believe muslims are out to harm them (because of recent media coverage). There isn't so much we can do, we can't change people's opinions if they don't want to change their own. We can, however defend people who are being judged on their race or beliefs, and accept each other as fellow human beings!
